Raw Materials

Kamtec establishes policies to minimize unnecessary resource consumption by efficiently using raw materials input into product and service manufacturing processes.

    We continuously improve productivity and optimize raw material input by comprehensively considering business strategy, production schedules, and inventory management under planned production.

    Waste generated during raw material input and production processes is separated, discharged, recycled, and reused whenever possible to maximize resource efficiency and reduce costs.

Kamtec leads the energy transition across our value chain, including the establishment of a low-carbon energy-based production system, investment in renewable energy generation facilities, and expansion of eco-friendly products.In addition, we continuously promote daily energy-saving activities, such as reducing energy consumption and waste.

Kamtec recognizes the importance of water resources for sustainable production and environmental conservation, and we are committed to minimizing water use and wastewater generation through the continuous improvement of water treatment and purification systems.

    To achieve sustainable water use, we minimize water intake, purify and recycle wastewater, and continuously practice the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).

Greenhouse Gas

We promote the transition to a renewable energy-based value chain in a phased manner, while considering business realities, and establish and implement greenhouse gas management and reduction policies, including carbon reduction and removal activities, to achieve our carbon neutrality goals.

    Waste generated at business sites is handled in accordance with relevant laws and regulations to ensure proper storage, collection, and transportation. Procedures are established and followed based on these legal requirements.

    We determine optimal treatment methods based on the type and quantity of waste generated in our business operations. By doing so, we minimize the ratio of waste sent to landfills and incineration, and continuously improve our recycling rate.

Environmental Pollution

Kamtec complies with domestic and international environmental laws and regulations, establishes emission and discharge management standards, and implements them.

    We monitor emissions of air pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx), and dust. To comply with legal requirements, we invest in and introduce low-emission facilities and advanced technologies.

  • 2Water Pollutants

    We monitor emissions of water pollutants such as biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and chemical oxygen demand (COD). To comply with legal requirements, we install and operate necessary treatment facilities.
